In August 2000, Guitar Player magazine interviewed Trey and obtained a very useful rig schematic. This is the era of the synthesizer loops, dual Boomerangs, and dual Deluxe Reverbs. As always, if anyone has good photos of the rig from Summer 2000, please send them along and I’ll use them to supplement.

And below are the schematic diagrams:
Here’s a look at this setup from the Vegas 2000 show (9-30-2000).
I’ve been going through Fall 2000 videos after watching Vegas, and I see no presence of the Languedoc cabinets anywhere, which is super interesting. I’m also not sure what’s up with the 2nd Deluxe Reverb because it looks to be on, but there is nothing running into the front of it.

Pretty sure the Languedoc cabinet was present in 1999 as decoration only, it was “mic’d” but doubt that mic signal actually went any where so not surprising that they didn’t bother bringing it out on the road in 2000. The 2nd Deluxe Reverb was simply a backup in case the primary amp acted up/died.

What about the Mesa head? Is that running into the Fender or in parallel?

Hey! Thanks for this amazing site : ) does anyone know of this was the setup Trey used for the Farmhouse studio album? I think his tones on there are about as good as it gets and have been curious as to how he was getting the sounds back then!
Thanks!
