This is the gear I keep set up in the Trey’s Guitar Rig Test Lab here in Boulder, Colorado.
Above, the primary board, which is all run out of a Road Rage True Bypass looper with 4 loops (button 1 is a bypass switch).
Loop 1: (Ernie Ball Volume, Teese RMC-1 Wah, Boss TU-2 Tuner)–>
Loop 2: (2 x Analogman TS-9/808 Silver Mod Tube Screamers)–>
Loop 3: (Catalinbread Echorec, Electro-Harmonix POG, Keeley Neutrino Envelope Filter, Moog MF Analog Delay)–>
Loop 4: (Digitech Whammy II)–>
Keeley Compressor
Above, the secondary board: The Keeley Comp runs into a TC Electronics Nova Repeater Delay, which splits the chain out into left and right channels and the rig stays stereo from there –> Strymon Flint –> Strymon Lex –> Boomerang III/Side Car. From there, the left channel runs to the 1968 Drip-edge Deluxe Reverb (AB763) and the right channel runs to the 1966 Blackface Deluxe Reverb (AB763). The “Favorite” switch is connected to the Strymon Flint and saves an extra reverb setting. The black Moog expression pedal controls the delay time on the Moog MF Delay.
Above, the Key Three: (From left) 1998 PRS Hollowbody II, Danocaster ’57 S-type, Rockbridge Slope Dreadnaught (Brazilian Rosewood).
Above, the amplifiers. Center is the Mesa/Boogie Mark III. Left is the 1968 Drip Edge Deluxe Reverb; Right is the 1966 Blackface Deluxe Reverb. Bottom left is the Focusrite Scarlet 18i20.
The Moog Sub 37 analog synthesizer.
